This gauge helps you achieve the critical 52mm overhang distance required for many Technics  models (such as the classic SL-1200 series). This measurement refers to the specific distance from the headshell connector to the stylus tip. Using this gauge ensures the stylus aligns correctly with the spindle, resulting in accurate tracking and superior audio fidelity.
