The BD-35 was one of the best Technics P-mount belt drive turntables.   It has a lot of nice features that are nearly impossible to find in today's belt drive turntables, such as pitch control, stroboscope, repeat play, and fully automatic operation.  The T4P (P Mount) standard was a specific tracking force and anti-skate setting of 1.25 grams so therefore no adjustments are necessary on this deck. These vintage Technics decks were always built to sound great and had excellent geometry on the tone-arm.  Technics reliability is almost up there with "death and taxes”.  In other words, they are robust !
